Preventative Services and Treatments.
Grub Prevention
Grubs appear in well kept lawns to fatten themselves by eating the roots of your grass, feeding underground and
killing your grass. We can prevent these unwelcome guests from damaging your property.
Fall or Spring Lime
Acidity in lawns comes from pets, leaves, and mulched debris. Lime will neutralize the acidic soils and protect the
health and vigor of your lawn.
Core Aeration
Core aeration is one of the most important practices that you could do for your lawn. Aeration helps control thatch,
improves the soil structure, helps create growth pockets for new roots, and opens the way for water and fertilizer to
get into the root zone of your lawn.
Overseeding
The best time to overseed is in the early fall, after aeration, while the days are still warm and nights are cool.
Seeds will germinate in the aeration holes with watering.
Mole Control
Contrary to popular belief, moles are often present in grub-free lawns. They enjoy feeding on bugs, grubs and
earthworms are their diet of choice. Moles can be effectively controlled using Talpirid Mole baits. The Talpirid
baiting application is the first and only mole bait designed, developed and scientifically proven to kill moles.
